‘Just tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
Back Then…
Hmmm, aside from the show of a famous personality in those days, this was the expression I recall about my Mom–who constantly remind me to hold on to the truth no matter what or she’ll gonna give me a whip I won’t forget. It grew roots and spread conviction on me in every time I was in any occasion. Minsan nga I bump the toughest guy in our neighborhood, I said na mali ang ginawa niya about the garden ng isang matanda dun sa amin. He might hurt me bad, but I was (of course) more afraid by the punishment I will get from my Mom when I don’t tell the truth. Aaaah that was foolish (I thought) and I almost backdown. But such was the conviction I felt that my mom implanted, I nervously went on to confess truth–kahit kabog talaga, co’z of the tigasin o siga na kababata ko. Hmmm, those were the days… tsk, tsk.
And Now…
I would say that lies could not only create breaches of trust, they also cause an inner decay as well. A decay that might develop you into a monster with a stone-poison-heart and will kick you farther away and away, from grace meant for you. And that is quite painful, my friend. You may hide it but until when?… Think of it this way and read well, “Truth builds a foundation for all other character. It could bring you to more heights and widen your sights on life. It also establishes your personal integrity and becomes the corner stone for your lasting relationships to every creature you could meet along the way.
Truth could be tough or should I say, it is definitely tough. It could make or break you. It will surely not break like a bubble at the touch, it will stay to convict you all day. You can or may kick it about all day long, like a football and it will be round and full at the evening trying to melt and mold you—if (only) you allow it to change you and would stick to it until….
The Christians greatest enemy back on the early church was the persecution and the prosecution. When those enemies realized they couldn’t beat them, they decided to ‘spread a different gospel.’ Na–Gets nyo? They wanted to taint the gospel a bit, but recently it has grown much bigger now. It’s like the rainbow that originated as a promise by God, but now has been tainted so much by the world., painted with much colors of confusions. Would you allow it to continue??
You know…, the truth used to be just the truth then, but now it has become
subjective. The truth used to be objective—black or white. Now, we have the idea of truth being defined by an individual’s feelings and opinions. ‘Feel the deception lately?? Think about it?….
One good educator (whose name escapes me….sorry.) once gave this good word to lived by, he said: “One must keep one thing forever in view—the Truth: and if you do this, although it may seem to lead you away from the opinions of men, it will assuredly conduct you to the throne of God.” Ang husay noh? So we should or must always speak the Truth–not just a part of it, but all—for all! And please do remember to be kind and compassionate as you do so. Stand, show and survive by it!
Someone with enough experience in the truth can spot a phony a mile away. Make sure your focus is right. Don’t focus on what you can’t control. Put your focus on the One who can control everything and then do what you’re supposed to do.
Brethren, It is never wrong to be simply truthful. ‘Hope we all learn it well and see its application everyday!
Shalom and God bless…..
VERSE-MEAL:
Instead, we have renounced secret and shameful ways. We do not practice deceit, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by open proclamation of the truth, we commend ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. 2Cor. 4:2

Humahaba na ang panalangin ko hehehe at para na akong ermitanyo pag tumitingin ako sa salamin. Hahaha! Mahirap din palang maghintay, it’s never a joke yet, a good thing is being develop when you do! And when I read the Good Book, there are many human examples that I really did not think, (sorry po ha!) that they would survive such a verrrry looong waiting. At naiisip ko tuloy, wala pa sa kalahati nila ang experience ko regarding waiting. It could be just a matter of delays for them. But the thing is… one might lost the golden opportunity to learn considerably big if one continue to neglect the importance of discovering such interval of the pauses, (whew!) that somehow bring sweats and pains. (Napakamot ako ng ulo ahh!)

Lot of times, everyone is a victim of this very “I am” scenario. The great “
We say, I’m a Christian but does our actions follow?, Does our thoughts support it?, Does our ways in agreement with it? Hmmm…, I guess I know, from an experience….the response to that! Excuses and more excuses are quite pouring in and might already be capturing our mind and possibly our heart. (‘quite a very dangerous phenomenon, I could say….) “Losing to the hollow and confusing knowledge of “

(Unless you’re seeking His truth,) pero sadly most of us are visibly looking after promoting our own and making defense (hmmm, constituted as–attack) ideas at a rightful consequence (daw) of a situation we’re into. ‘Hard to admit ehy?, kasi
I read a good inspirational story that gave me a heart pounding and inspiration with lots of tears inside…. a loud chore that requires an open, huge & listening ears. Well.., who knows…?, this might be a boat to carry you to the place you needed to reach…….today! (smiles….)
Then the waiter appeared displaying a very flashing bright smile as he guide him to a table neatly arranged. He introduced himself politely to be his server that time and greeted him with a great “How are you Sir?”, but an indifferent respond from the guy was noticed, perhaps due to his disappointment on his recent activity and exhaustion. The waiter smiles and captured the situation at hand with a lifting comment—“Me?, I’m blessed Sir! co’z God is good.”
As the waiter brought his hot rolls, the customer found himself silently leaning and asking—“How in the world can you be so cheerful?” The waiter again, showed his gold-capped teeth and shared without a doubt the source of his enthusiastic joy. His scripture references were accurately on target, launched like a missile on a mission, straight from the heart. The customer readily knows such, as he is a Christian himself trapped in some temporary spinning wheels of life’s predicament.
When the dinner were through, the customer found out that he is a former drug crazed guy that’s why he made it a point to share his deep compassion for others still caught in that lifestyle. Also he learned that the waiter’s fiancée is in serious sickness and wrote her name for prayer request handed to the customer.
Indeed, it was considered one of the most successful contacts of the customer’s weekend trip…. what do you say?

know…yet why so many people today are still yearning and living for so many things, why are they still forgetting where it really came from and even somehow, many would take those things dishonestly to their lives. Could that genuinely answer my title if its converted to a question? Hmmm….
brothers are in the line? When we need a medicine fast or money to pay for the cure, operation or important requirements. It’s one thing to answer it honestly when you are in a real predicament. Or when your sight is fixed on helping and saving the one so attached and important. You might go after the quick solution in your power and knowledge that satisfy to augment such. Perhaps….
our goal, motives and conviction. Are they in-line?. or out-of-line? Self-search lies in there….

world to obtain. As Jesus came to win the kingdoms of this world to our God. And the devil is saying, “Hey, You can take a shortcut. No one will know anyway, I will give You what You want. Try to bend a little, don’t be such a square! You don’t have to do it God’s way perfectly. You may have to compromise Your integrity a bit, just a bit but think of how quickly You will succeed! You can even avoid the whole sacrifice thing! No harm done! Just a little bend & a bit of compromise. You don’t have to do it God’s way.” And so the devil goes….
Lend me your ears and listen, anytime God has set a goal for you, and you are going to obtain something, the devil will always come and try to get you to compromise and offer you substitutes that could appear to be practical and easier to do. He will tempt you by saying things like, “You can get what you want without living by all those narrow, restrictive rules that God puts on people’s lives. You can be dishonest; you can be unfaithful; you can compromise; and you can still be blessed, and you can still be happy.”
