The Delays, the Pauses & the Waiting...

Picture2

It’s been looong! Whew!

I found myself reading some interesting articles regarding pregnancies…yup! It really perk me up. Do you know that the great , big elephant takes about twenty months of pregnancy. Tsk tsk …tagal noh? What about a kind of spiny shark…, Yung pagbubuntis nila ay mga 22-24 months. Hahaha buti na lang di ako naging babae. Sa ating mga tao nine months lang pero mahirap pa rin at may halong takot pa. I also read about a certain Alpine salamander, at sabi dun sa magazine eh, they endure a period of thirty-eight months. Whoa! Such periods really builds a loooong experience and the required patience for the women who chose to be Mom.

Patience is what I think–while reading the mags. Kasi marami akong hinihintay. Related imageHumahaba na ang panalangin ko hehehe at para na akong ermitanyo pag tumitingin ako sa salamin. Hahaha! Mahirap din palang maghintay, it’s never a joke yet, a good thing is being develop when you do! And when I read the Good Book, there are many human examples that I really did not think, (sorry po ha!) that they would survive such a verrrry looong waiting. At naiisip ko tuloy, wala pa sa kalahati nila ang experience ko regarding waiting. It could be just a matter of delays for them. But the thing is… one might lost the golden opportunity to learn considerably big if one continue to neglect the importance of discovering such interval of the pauses, (whew!) that somehow bring sweats and pains. (Napakamot ako ng ulo ahh!)

I remember “Father Abraham, oo yung pong may seven children daw hehehe sabi nung kanta ng bata. Seriously, I admire him for showing the great lessons about waiting. His faithfulness really astounds me. Although uncertainty and difficulty flagged him, He still wait for God’s promise to be fulfilled. He has reached a very old age yet still that “father of a great nation” thing he believes, notwithstanding the situation happening around him plus the unbelief of his wife. Imagine bukod sa napakatanda na nya, yung asawa nya eh… anu bay un?, baog pa! He may have somehow questioned how the fulfilment of the promise was possible without or even the basic possibility of a son. Paano na yun?

He, “Father Abaham” was called righteous and after 25 looong years, the promise of a son was given.

Waiting for God’s promises to be fulfilled is a call of trusting Him. No matter how long the delay, no matter how it might appear to be, as long as the Lords uttered it…it will surely come. HE said it and He has that kind of integrity! Sigurado yun!

Shalom! God bless po sa inyong lahat!

VERSE-MEAL:
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. Hebews 10:23
