The Guiding Gut and Instinct...

Gut

Resently, I enjoyed being an employee of a good Airline Company (if not the best) in Middle East. (Hahaha parang commercial & promotion lang noh?) This has been exciting as it is making me more of becoming adept with different kind of culture. My flexibility increases! ‘Really quite exciting to see different people in various clothes, backgrounds and/or nationalities. I’m seeing, meeting and learning a lot from them. I love looking at the pilots. (nag-imagine din akong maging piloto kasi nung araw eh) Their good bearing shows how secured and smart they are. They project safety among the passengers, as sometimes the aircraft they manipulate goes into a series of a not so good situations. And telling people to calm down as we’re only passing over a storm, draft or temporary condition is quite a job, you know—snatching the fear of flight or anything from them is also a gift to consider. Divah?! One must be high spirited, having a top confidence and very “truly” courageous to claim such.

Flying or being in the storm is a very dangerous experience. Even if you’re trained in such field, there will come a time that one would break his knees in panic when facing such. (kahit sino ka pa) It could mean big accidents, big fear of the unknown and death ultimately. And listen to this…, just found out that any pilot will tell you, never trust your instinct as that could and will be a prescription to a more disaster. Because if you rely on your feelings and instincts, you could possibly become disoriented.., thinking the plane is going up when it is actually is going down. Focus on the reliable aviation instruments panel as they are set to magnetic north and can be trusted every time accordingly. Letting your instruments guide you even when it feels like they’re wrong, helps secure safety in every storm.

Hmmm., Think about it, we all face storms that threatens to confuse and disorient us. It maybe a call from a doctor’s office, a friend who has betrayed you, a child that understand a little or could be a shattered dream. Those are times to be especially careful. ‘Got my drift? When we are blinded by life’s disappointments don’t trust your instincts. Flying and maneuvering by your own, in thehuman storms of life can lead to despair, confusions and perhaps vengeful responses that makes matter worse. The loving God wants to guide you, and His Word is packed with wisdom and insights for living. Di ko sasabihin ito kung di ko naranasan. Truly, His Word is a shining lamp to our feet and light to our path. So where He leads is always right—oh yeah more correct that aviation instruments of pilots ehy?

Let’s go to our Bible and start trusting God wholly to guide us. He personally promises that instructions and teachings will flood us in the way we should go.

The closer we walk with God.., the clearer we see His guidance. Now that is true, now.., that’s a fact!

VERSE-MEAL:
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with my eye. Psalm 32:8
